Tikil farmer group is situated in the Mul district of Western Highlands province. Tikil Wopkola is a small holder group that owns about 14 hectares of coffee trees. The soil is very fertile and organic farming is prevalent for the rural people. It is quite cold and therefore gives low flush than other areas in the province.
Tikil Wopkola coffees were assessed by the overseas Q graders and results show good cup profile at the average of 84.5 points with attributes; Caramel, sweet fruit, winey, blackcurrant, tropical fruit, and citric.
They have the opportunity to access overseas specialty markets as long as they maintain high quality required by the overseas Specialty markets.
